We've got almost three-quarters of the regular-season in the books, and this was one of the last handful of three-game weeks of the year. That means this was one of the final "war of attrition" weeks. As we move closer and closer to Decision Day, rotations will get shorter and shorter as desperation for playoff spots (or seeding – a lesser desperation, but desperation nonetheless) kicks in.
In other words this was the end of the summer grind. The home stretch kicks off for real next weekend.
