Welcome back. It is time, once again, for the most important article in the history of the world. At least until next week.

A reminder to folks who are new here: the Power Rankings are not they standings. They are a combination of:

• How well they've played lately
• How well they've played overall
• What I think of their talent
• What I think of their depth
• What I think of their game model
• What I think of the schedule they've faced
• Vibes

By that rubric, Vancouver and Nashville had created some legit separation going into the World Cup break. Coming out of it, they've already been caught, and passed, and I don't think anybody's going to like that.
