Sorting out what to expect from the meeting this week that could mean a vastly different salary cap & roster building structure
Big week. The story dominating group chats, front offices, and probably your inbox is the Tuesday report that MLS owners are set to hear a presentation on overhauling the roster rules – salary budget included. This is the kind of news that only comes around once a decade or so, and it deserves real attention, so I'm leading with it (spoiler: transparency matters more than you think).
From there we get into the usual grab bag. Miami's roster-building operation still lapping the field, Atlanta's decade-long identity crisis, why Hugo Cuypers picked Monterrey over MLS, etc etc.

As I said, the big news of the week came on Tuesday when Tom & Paul reported that MLS owners would be hearing a presentation on potential changes to the league's roster rules and regulations, with a focus on the salary budget.
